This group was introduced by William Miller. He looked and interpreted the events in the Bible to calculate the exact date to which the apocalypse was taking place. The group turned to a great disappointment when three of William Miller’s predictions came up short. Other Adventist believed the Miller’s predictions were true while his other followers left because they thought the predictions were false. So, the Adventist went a step further. The Adventist believed Jesus did arrive, but he didn’t arrive physically like they believed before. Instead, Jesus showed up spiritually. The apocalypse turned out to be a spiritual cleanse. Premillennialists believed that peace of the world can only be granted by a catastrophic event or a supernatural force. They believed the oncoming of Christ was the only way for the world to have any sort of salvation. Another millennialism is Amillennialism. Amillennialism is formed from biblical references. They are important to the hearts of the millennialists. Finally the last millennial mentioned is dispensationalism. The way they work is that Christ will die and end up resurrected, but while this happens the world will have a rapture. The Christ will arrive back and take all those who are faithful with him. Dispensationalists came the word of the Bible and try to determine what it means in history. They want to understand God’s plan because destruction is inevitable and there is nothing they can do about
