One might have thought that, Mr.Thrasher was out of his mind when he started setting the stage but then come to realize that it was the only way to do so."Like I saw, my imagination can do wonders. I used to even believe that it could bring my parents back together. But it can't do miracles" (Thrasher 70). As Chris said his imagination can do wonders, but it can't do real wonders, and that's when he realized that he needs to start taking things into his own hands. He had made a good decision but not the best. "Good to know I'm hanging out with the right people"(Thrasher 78). Since Chris had made an decision with his friend group and with his best friend Jocelyn and the reader though what does Thrasher have up his sleeve and what is Chris going to get out of them. One was thinking that he made a good choice."I ride for ten minutes thinking thing through until I reach the barrier and then I found her"(Thrasher 83). One day Jocelyn went missing, just like the many other people of this town, however that did not stop Chris, he went out looking for his best friend. The reader must have been thinking the worst. Just as the reader would suspect, the worst did happen. There was a cult that seemed to be... ( idk taking people) ... but thrasher does not disappoint there reader.Once the Cult layer eyes on chris, he was captured and drugged so he would not remember what was going on.Just like that, in a snap of the fingers, the story changes. And he didn't die all because he thought it throw and left willingly unlike Joclyn who got in way to much trouble and ended up
