Chris Roberts was born on May 27, 1968 on Redwood City, CA. He spent his childhood days in Manchester, England. Since his early days he showed some serious interest on game developing and as a result, he was able to create video games for BBC Micro, and King Kong at his teenage years.
His professional life began after he returned back to US. In 1986, he started working for Origin Systems. While working for Origin System, he developed Times of Lore in 1988. Later, he designed Wing Commander in 1990. The wing commander was the first game in science fiction. This game for the first time used the space simulation. Eventually, the Wing Commander became the most successful game on that period. The wing commander had a simulation of a jet and also had different levels of game. The successive levels were determined by the successful completion of the missions. Star Wars: Knight of the Old Republic is a game simulated in Star wars universe. The player choose from various player options and customize the plot and fight against the enemy. The game advances with the points earned during the time of play. The use of power, display of skill and defeating enemies make the game advance in different levels. This game also encodes several messages and makes the discussion about the plot. The players on the same group can have conversation as well as can argue with the counterpart. The player at most can have two allies at their group. The dialog menu along with the actual game makes it real and authentic.
