"Your are responsible for your own happiness," a quote used by many people. Some do agree with this saying while others don't. In the film 'Into the Wild' we saw how Chris McCandless made his own happiness while ignoring how other people feel about him and his decisions. We observed that by going to Alaska he'd receive happiness. Some people throughout the film tried to stop him but nothing changed his mind. Because of this many people criticized Chris for his choice to go into the wild. People such as Shaun Callarman states that Chris McCandless was just plain crazy.
