In the book, Into The Wild, there are several women who are mentioned throughout the book. Each of them have had a particular relationship with Chris. Some of these women have helped him during his time in need. These women are Jan Burres, Borah, Wayne Westerberg’s girlfriend, Wayne Westerberg’s mom, Billie McCandless, Kris Maxie Gillmer, Lori Zarza, and Carine McCandless. These women were involved with Chris McCandless in a spiritual and motherly way; in which each were affected greatly by his sudden death. Even though I feel like the women in this novel wanted to help Chris and also tell him he needs to go back home to his family and also to civilization, I believe that the women in this book played a well know role in Chris's life, taught
