In the book Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer the main character Christopher McCandless loved his life. Chris was an extremely intelligent young man who excelled in almost everything he did. Chris got the idea to live in the woods from Henry David Thoreau after reading book walden. Chris was also a giant fan of Henry David Thoreau because he felt a connection to him. He felt a connection because they both were very intelligent and they both wanted to escape society. Chris starts off as a young man who excels in everything he does. Then moving further into the book we start to realize that Chris doesn't enough his life as much as he should.
