Chris Mccandless: A Tragic Hero

The wild has never been a guy best friend, Nowadays people like living a hobo-lifestyle and that is what McCandless did after finishing college and leaving his “perfect life”. Since he attain the tired materialistic life he was living and the conditions that would surround him, he decided to begin hitchhiking and run Into the Wild. In the book they portrayed him as a tragic hero due to his nobility, pride, and intelligence.
Since McCandless was younger, he would always accomplish trips without letting anyone know including his parent, In one of his trips he evokes sick that when he came back home his parents took it extremely seriously and after that he decided to do whatever they told him to do. The people that build a relationship to get to know him knew he was a hardworking and a worthy man.
Therefore, he had a big pride, every time a person of influence tried to help him out or get him out of that state of mind he was in he was too stubborn and did not let them clean up his head. Even when he was in the worst state ever he did not ask anyone for help, or tried looking for help. For example, when his car started getting stranded on the road, he did not glance for help instead he hustles to put everything down. All his important chattels and burn them, including his cash and left the car there stranded and started walking. McCandless trip began at that exact moment.
From there going from one place to another was really normal for him. Wherever he would meet people, they tried helping him, but since his pride was too enormous people would not even bother to help him.
Sometimes he would make an exception and just let the same people help him, He did not have a love life due to all the travel he would do. To prove his pride was extremely high he even thought of death as an option due to
