Chris Kyle enlisted in the Navy SEALS for most of ‘The War on Terror’ which was the period after the events of 9/11. Kyle has the most career sniper kills in the history of the United States military. He fought against Taliban, al-Qaida, terrorists, drug lords and many weapon traders. He was feared by the Iraqis to the point that they put a bounty on his head and nicknamed him “the devil.” Kyle was considered a legend by his Navy Seal allies, and he stands as one of the deadliest snipers to serve for the military. In his book “American Sniper” Throughout the book Kyle finds himself having to pick between his duty to serve his country or his commitment to his wife and kids.
