They later had two children, Colton and McKenna. Chris left the military in 2009 and moved to Midlothian, Tx. with his wife and two children. He became president of the Craft international, a tactical training company for the Us military and law enforcement communities. Kyle later paired with FITCO cares foundation, a non profit organization which created the Heroes Project. Which was for in need veterans with disabilities.
Sadley on February 2, 2013 Chris and a companion named Chad Littlefield were shot and killed by a veteran named named Eddie Ray Routh. Kyle and Littlefield had reportedly taken Routh to the gun range in effort to help him with his PTSD. Routh then got into Kyle's truck and drove to his sister's house and told her what he had done. She is the one that called 911. The police went to the gun range and found both men dead.
Chris Kyle was a real American Hero. In his whole life he always put everyone before himself and always wanted to help others. He fought to protect this country and all the people that live in it. He sacrificed so much during his tours in Iraq. He was even trying to help someone at the time of his death. For these reasons and more, I would have liked to have met and shook Chris Kyle’s hand and thanked him for his service. He is a definition of what a hero
