When we are little we all have our own definitions of what a hero is in our eyes. Some heroes wore capes or crowns, but a big hero that gets overlooked often are the ones in combat boots. My hero is one of the men who wore combat boots his name is Chris Kyle. Kyle is known to the world for his famous movie “American Sniper”, but to the ones who knew him personally, he wasn’t just a soldier. He was a man who had compassion for the world. Above all Chris Kyle was such a loving and selflessness man who helped others overcome their obstacles on the homefront. Chris Kyle will forever be a heroic icon to many people. He truly made the ultimate sacrifice. All things considered Chris Kyle is a compassionate all American hero due to his will to fight and overcome obstacles throughout his extraordinary life.
From the beginning of his career Chris Kyle displayed a strong passion for his country and was a fighter from the beginning. Kyle is known for his legendary military career. After having served for ten years and had four deployments in that time period. With 160 confirmed kills he was a lethal man who was dangerous to all enemies. After serving his country and that being his priority, Kyle finally realized it was time to put his growing family first. At this point Kyle decided it was time to retire from the military and moved his little family to Texas to start a life. There were many struggles Chris Kyle had to overcome while settling back into civilian life. He suffered from a severe case of PTSD which finally resulted in him getting some help. After getting help and getting his life back Chris Kyle founded the security company CRAFT, and got his life back on
