Someone who is personable will know how to convey their thoughts in a clear, understandable form. Communicating effectively with those you work with is essential to advancement. Someone who is personable, such as my father, understands that to work with others you need to have mutual respect and some form of trust. You can have respect without trust in this kind of relationship and it still works, but it won’t be as efficient.
