Choosing a major is not easy, but nothing stood out for me as the communication Sciences and Disorders did. Perhaps, because speech pathologists have been playing great roles in my community and changing lives of people around me; so I would love to become part of this change. One example, is one of my friends’s little sister was born with speech delay and she was telling me how her little sister loves her speech pathologist and how she helped her utter simple words after her parents have accepted their child is delayed and they almost lost hope. She explained to me how this speech therapist became a great joy to her family which amazes me because I’d love to help and be part of this cause.
