External Influences On Life

There are influences that constantly surrounding us. The influence of others can impact our choices and perspectives in different ways. There are good and bad influences around us and it is our choice of which one we want to take. In William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer 's Night Dream, Hermia and Theseus consider the perspectives of others, which influences their choices and perspectives on life. However, they still get to decide what they want to do. In my own experience, just like Hermia and Theseus, I also consider external perspective of others. Also, standing up for what we believe is a great feeling especially when we are with the people that we love. Hermia, in the play A Midsummer’s Night Dream is in love with the guy that her father doesn’t like. Her father wants her to marry the guy that he wants for her, named Demetrius. Hermia considered the options that was given to her by the duke Theseus and her father because she respects them. However, she ended up rejecting other people, including Theseus’ law because she loves Lysander so much that she is willing to fight for him. This situation influenced her and Lysander to run away, to show that they love each other and they are willing to fight for their love. Lysander also influenced Hermia in different ways and impacted her life greatly. One of the reason is that they love each other and they want their relationship to work. Being in a relationship means acknowledging your partner 's perspective to show that you respect and trust each other. Hermia considering the perspective of others, influenced her to stand up for what she believes and fight for the person she
