In Robert Frost poem, “The Road Not Taken” the writer employs the use of a metaphor to demonstrate the concept of choice. The line, “Two roads diverged in a yellow wood” symbolizes the very difficult task that the writer is faced with in terms of which way he should proceed. This decision will undoubtedly be a life altering one since there are only two unknown possible outcomes.
