Hersey's Chocolate Nuggets with every visit was the highlight of my day, because sitting alone for hours in this silent and desolate hospital made me wonder. How could I have made smart choices about my health to prevent this catastrophe.

The thought of going to the hospital frightens me ,but I never want to feel this pain ever again. Before I set a foot out the door my body felt like a cloud, lifeless. A bright cloud of nothingness is all I can see as I adjust my eyes from the lights of my hospital room. "How are you feeling ,Alexis?" asks the nurse. I nod in response to assure her. As I observe the room, I look down only to see my arm connected to an IV. The doctor explains that some of the reasons of why I was so sick was that I was dehydrated and needed to eat. My close family arrived to check on me and as a gift they brought Hersey's Chocolate Nuggets, which was little chocolates they found in the gift shop of the hospital. As the

My fingers and legs persistently trembled after I finished playing Mozart’s “Viennese Sonata.” I stood up from the piano bench, bowed and the audience began to applaud; immediately I left the stage as the crimson curtains closed. I broke into a series of miserable sobs; it felt like my whole world was plummeting before my eyes. The term atrocious would be an understatement to describe the chaos that had occurred. Whether it was the nervousness that I felt as I performed in the presence of my family or in the intimacy of the venue, I made a blunder of the performance; the notes jumbled all together and the beat became unsteady.…

When it comes to chocolate, there are only two options: you either love it or you are allergic to it; very few people actually dislike the aroma of chocolate. In this essay I will be taking a look at 2 texts about how chocolate is made. Text 1 is an extract from the novel “Chocolat” by Joanne Harris and text 2 is an informational and promotional piece published by www.greenandblacks.com, titled “From Bean to Bar”. Both texts talk about a passion for making chocolate, but that is where most of the similarities end. Because the two text have a different purpose, the texts are very different.…

The bizarre director-actor duo of Tim Burton and Johnny Depp unfailingly concoct odd, and often grotesque, movie masterpieces. Chock full of dark humor, strange dialogue, and unusual, yet intriguing, characters, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is, without a doubt, another extraordinary creation of the outlandish pair. This film will take you on a journey into the chocolate factory of eccentric candy man Willy Wonka through the eyes of poverty-stricken Charlie Bucket, who, by a string of fate, wins Wonka's contest. The amusing and sadistic events that entail throughout the factory set out to prove the true worth and goodness of little Charlie, despite his raggedy appearance and lifestyle. Since the beginning of the Fall 2016 semester, chocolate has become my comfort food. I cannot spend a week without having chocolate at least five out of the seven days of the week; two to three king sizes of any given chocolate candy’s brands per day. This behavioral intention (i.e. attitudes toward the behavior) now turned into a negative health behavior. My excessive consumption of chocolate has become a health compromising behavior (i.e. behaviors that detract from or damage health) since it is now an addictive, habitual and somehow pleasurable activity to me. My high conception of sugar in chocolate could aggravate my obesity (i.e. an excessive accumulation of body fat), cause me to develop hyperglycemia (i.e. blood sugar is too high)…
