And the world’s best drink award goes to.... the obvious, chocolate milk! Why, you might ask? Because chocolate milk is healthy, it’s a great drink after any type of workout, and it tastes great. So, if you are considering banning chocolate milk in your school, remember, your students and the award that we gave chocolate milk for being such a great drink! But, if you’re still not convinced, here’s some more good information about why we need to continue serving chocolate milk in schools.
One reason that schools should continue serving chocolate milk is because it’s healthy. Chocolate milk contains the same 9 essential nutrients as plain white milk. Some of those nutrients are Vitamins A, D, E, calcium, and protein. Chocolate milk also only

When students at school have finished P.E. or maybe even just working out, they come to lunch and expect a nice cool drink on a hot day. So, students won’t be very happy if we don’t give them the chocolate milk they need. I think that now you can figure out for yourself why we need to keep serving chocolate milk in schools. A personal trainer in the L.A. District, Ingrid Nelson says,”I think it’s great. Chocolate milk has lots of benefits for muscle recovery.” This shows that chocolate milk is healthy for your muscles, which is great. Another man, by the name of Scritchfield, thinks that we should continue serving chocolate milk in schools too. He says,”Flavored milk has a more beneficial ratio of carbohydrates to protein for faster muscle recovery and rebuilding.” This proves that chocolate milk is good for you after a workout because your muscles recover quicker. Nelson also says,” Chocolate milk helps replenish the muscle tissue, actually giving you a shorter recovery time.” Besides all this, Nelson states that upon entering the body, milk creates spikes in insulin (in this case, it’s good for you), which helps transport sugar into the muscle, where it becomes glycogen, which is a substance deposited in bodily tissues as a store of carbohydrate. Insulin is a hormone produced by the pancreas that regulates the amount of glucose in the blood. Chocolate milk also stimulates muscle repair and growth.
