Chirp chirp is all I said the day that I turned into a bird.It is a very simple story depending on how you look at it. One day I was walking home from school and I did what I usually did. The next day I woke up as a bird and I had no idea what happened. Then my mom came inside and I was just staring at her not knowing what to do. She then looked around to see where I was and when she was done looking she got a stick and started chasing me around with it, my mom continued until I ran out the window by accident. I was running because I didn't know how to fly, and I also did not think about it.All I thought about was trying not to get squashed by a stick.

When I ran out the window I tried to speak for a few hours with no success. I chirped until another person came at me with another stick because I was disturbing them. I then ran until I remembered that bird's could fly, so I then

At first people thought I was just a very smart bird until I kept writing please a bunch and help me a bunch of times on the wall and the vets finally realized what was happening. They called some really smart guy call Dr.Wells who did some tests on me. He found out why I turned into a bird although it did take quite a long time. Almost about a month, although as a bird I had no sense of time and for all I knew it could have been a few minutes. He had some guy help him called Allan who talked to me like a baby more than anything. They kept me in a cage for a while as well, but at least it was the good cage that had space and food for me to make the most of. After a while he came up with some conclusion on why I was a bird that I to this day still don't understand. The only problem was how to turn myself into a human again as everything they tried would falter. They also said that they would find a way to get my horrible fragrance off of

It was very early in the morning when I start hearing yelling almost screeching words that came from just outside the front door. My father rushed to the door knowing the if he was not there soon whoever was not outside would not hesitate to break down the door. As my father opened the door the Nazi officer did not hesitate to to welcome himself in. The officer talked of having us move somewhere else but wouldn't be more specific than that. He only gave us half an hour to get ready to leave and told us we were not aloud to bring jewelry or any personal items.…

I am a beautiful, delightful, little bird with a large happy personality with bright, fuzzy, yellow feathers to match. I have been lonely lately though, it makes me quiet in addition fragile. I am on the search for a new best friend; I hope this friend with be real as well as pulchritudinous, loud as me with a big, corny sense of humor. I spy a large creature with floppy, brown ears with gross stream of drool slide out from its mouth, the next thing I notice is the creature is rolled over on a soft rug, very close to my cage. I try to sing loud to get the creature's attention, but he is too far.…

The narrator opened the door a second time when the bird flew in, “Perched upon a bust of Pallas just above my chamber door— / Perched, and sat, and nothing more.” The bird acted like a normal bird, he did not look different from any other bird, he was just a normal bird, nothing to make him seem imaginary. It can also be easy to believe that the bird was real because the narrator did not act out of the ordinary when the bird showed up, “Straight I wheeled a cushioned seat in front of bird, and bust, and door;” He strangely looked at the bird but never acted out of the ordinary until he realized the bird was a figment of his imagination. This poem made it difficult to pick a side on whether the dark-colored bird was real or if it was being made up by the narrator.…

They only had a canary that would sing in the same way Minnie Wright did back when she was young. Her neighbor Mrs. Hale stated “if there’d been years and years of nothing then a bird to sing to you, it would be awful—still, after the bird was still” (992). For example, this quote illustrates that her life changed after her bird was killed because it was the most important thing in her life since she didn’t have any children to look after. Her bird was…

The New Jersey Chamber Singers and the Bridgewater-Raritan High School Symphonic Choir performed a choral concert, Psalms from Age to Age, located at The Presbyterian Church of Toms River. This performance by both of these choirs was impressive, as well as organized due to the talent and easy flow between each song. This performance was in a beautiful church with stained glass windows; the windows provided a sense of colorful light inside of the church, which I loved. The inside of the church was a great temperature and the seating was comfortable. The church is old; therefore, the seating is also old, but there were cushions on the pews, making it relaxing.…
