Chiropractic Compliance Interview and Presentation

For my chiropractic compliance interview and presentation, I interviewed my first Chiropractor and preceptor doctor, Dr. Rick Elbert. Dr. Elbert or Dr. Rick to many friends and patients, is known throughout the country as an expert in the Gonstead Chiropractic Technique. He is a graduate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport and has been a chiropractor for 39 years. Dr. Elbert opened his first office in Ames Iowa in 1978. He then moved to his second clinic in Ogden Iowa in 2002. Dr. Elbert has been active in many civic and chiropractic organizations. He studied under Dr. C.S. Gonstead at the Gonstead Clinic in Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin and Dr. Larry Troxell in Davenport, Iowa. Dr.

Dr. Rick states in his code of conduct manual that he will always tell you the truth how the patient responds to it is always their decision. He will never do anything to compromise his patients’ health… or his reputation. Chiropractic care is essential for optimum health! It saves lives slowly and Dr. Rick promises to show his patients how. Dr. Rick cares about every one of his patients and wants the best for them. Every patient who trusts him with their health is a blessing and he does not take that responsibility lightly. He works for the patient and wants to exceed their wildest expectations. Every day is an opportunity to get better or worse and he chooses to get better and wants his patients to as well. Dr. Rick remains a continual student, and learns all that he can to serve his patients better. He promises to never lose sight of the fact that it is the patients’ body, not him, that does the healing. Open communication is part of the company culture at Functional Chiropractic. From the beginning Dr. Rick encouraged communication and made it mutual for his employees. Dr. Rick is very appreciative of open communication and enthusiastic when ideas are shared. At functional chiropractic chirotouch soft wear is used for office collaboration. As a manager Dr. Rick trusts his employees as he hopes that they trust him as well. He also treats them as he would want to be treated.
