Because it is a chain restaurant, people often equate Chipotle with cheap, mediocre fast-food chains. Although Chipotle provides quick service and reasonable prices, it is remarkably different from every fast-food restaurant. With real ingredients and fresh food every day, Chipotle supersedes the pre-packaged, insipid frozen foods served by many fast-food chains. Lastly, anyone who has visited multiple fast-food restaurants, including myself, can see that they are much less sanitary and inviting in comparison to a Chipotle. I know from experience that I feel much better about what I am eating and where I am eating when I am at a Chipotle as opposed to most fast-food

On Halloween night from 5:00 pm to closing time, you have the chance to get a burrito, taco, or salad from Chipotle for only three dollars! All you have to do is wear a costume and then add an unnecessary addition to it. An example would be a fairy costume and then add a mustache to your face or a ghost in high heels. The message that they are trying to say, from the costumes, is that Chipotle's food is made with all natural foods that are not processed or added with preservatives, such as how McDonalds, Burger King, and others' food are added with preservatives so that they can last longer. McDonald's and Burger King also have processed foods so that they can make the products at a cheaper price.…

Intro/Background http://www.bloomberg.com/graphics/2015-chipotle-oral-history/ Chipotle Mexican Grill was founded by Steve Ells in 1993. The concept of the restaurant was inspired by the foil wrapped mission-style burritos Steve ate while working in San Francisco, California. When he proposed the idea to his friends and family, they were not too supportive about it. His dad’s response was “So you have six years of pretty expensive schooling here, and it's going to be burritos and tacos? Are you serious?”.…

The food is not only great tasting but it’s also relatively inexpensive. What’s even better is that they also provide you with nutrition facts about their food. They call it the menu nutrition and it provides you with the calorie count for everything on their menu. I love the fact that their chicken is not nasty processed meat like most fast food restaurants. Instead they use whole chicken breast that has 28 grams of protein and 15% iron.…

After the quality of the food is considered, the next logical thing to look at is how it is being served. The service is another important factor when eating out because it sets the stage of how the meal will go. If the employees are rude or disrespectful it will ruin the rest of the night because even after the issue is solved the customer will still be fuming after the encounter. On the other hand if the service is wonderful the customer can then focus on the quality of the food. It is already clear that Chick-fil-A’s food is excellent, so it is important to analyze their service to see if it is up to par with similar restaurants and if it is unique.…

Chipotle for the Win: For those of you NOT following the life-threatening news surrounding Chipotle, here is a quick catch up: Chipotle was slammed by a lawsuit at the end of 2015 for failing to disclose information about transgressions against food safety. This accusation was brought on by the outbreak of E. Coli found in Chipotle’s notoriously fresh ingredients. Nearly 500 people have contracted a foodborne illness from the Chipotle chain since July. Ironically, 374 of the 500 people sickened contracted the Norovirus/Norwalk virus from sick employees which had nothing to do with Chipotle’s ingredients. Taking that into account there were nearly 126 people that may have been sickened by Chipotle’s ingredients, but none died.…

Every time I walk into Texas Roadhouse my eyes wonder over to where the rolls and their special cinnamon butter waiting to be consumed by the customer. I hear country music playing in the background, and feel peanuts crumbling under my feet like leaves on a beautiful autumn day. Without looking at the menu, my mind is already preparing my stomach for the flavorful food that I am about to encounter. Texas Roadhouse gives the Newark population somewhere local to get a great steak while getting a significate value. From personal experience most of the other steakhouses will get very pricey for a family of five making it difficult to dine at their restaurant while living on a tight budget.…
