Chipotle is very limited on the items listed on their menu. Chipotle serves a variety of burritos, tacos, burrito bowl’s, and salads. They offer only certain kinds of meats, rice, beans, and toppings. Chipotle does offer a kid’s menu, with seasonal fruit or chips, and juice or organic milk. The kid’s meal is limited to quesadilla’s. All of these options are limited compared to competitors that may offer a more wide range of foods. There is an alarm that goes off every hour within a Chipotle (Berfield, 2015). The alarm is used to remind a worker to wash their hands and put on a new set of latex gloves (Berfield, 2015). Three former managers said the alarm was often times ignored when the restaurant was busy (Berfield, 2015). A field manager would come into the locations every month or so to make sure everything was going, as it should be (Berfield, 2015). For a few days after the field managers left, the employees would put in place the hand-washing rule, but after a few days, they would slack off again and not follow that rule put in place (Berfield, 2015). Chipotle also put more of an importance on being able to safely handle meat, rather than the produce (Berfield,
