Ohio Department of Transportation also provided valuable information regarding chip seal (2016). Dr. Gransberg from the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) provide an article from 2003 that discussed detailed specific information regarding appropriate conditions for the best application of chip seal. The United States Department of Agriculture in 2011 provided information on how to estimate costs for various road construction methods discussing necessary equipment and resources required for a variety of construction methods.
