What is art? As Andy Warhol reportedly said “Art is anything you can get away with”. Chip Foose had taken that to a different level. He has inspired many automotive enthusiasts to go outside their level of comfort in order to try and keep up with Foose’s creativity when it came to building and designing cars. Born on October 13, 1963, Chip was about to begin his journey into a world that he would have an impact on forever. At the age of seven he had already begun to work on automobiles with his father. What had gotten the ball rolling for Chip is when he met Alex Tremulus who had inspired him to go to Art Center. He attended Art Center College of Design in 1982, but dropped out only after 2 years and ended up returning to finish 4 years later.
