Chinese Cinderella by Adeline Yen Mah is an inspirational story because she is unwanted and found her way, she persevered even in the worst times, and in the end she triumphed and felt good about it.
Adeline is unwanted and not cared about, but still was able to find her way. Adeline is unwanted because her dad always ignores her.For example,“ I realized nobody had missed me. They didn't even know I wasn't home.” This shows that since father wasn't paying attention to Adeline he didn't know that Adeline wasn't even there. This also shows that none of her other family members noticed that she was gone because they were all in their own worlds and not really caring what happened to Adeline. She also needed to find her own way. For example,“
