The Chinese alligator is one of the world’s endangered species. It is one of two types of alligators surviving in the world. The Chinese alligator live in swamps and ponds in China. Extermination and habitat pollution from agricultural chemicals are making them in danger of extinction.
In compared with other alligators, Chinese alligators remain relatively safe from hunters who seek out getting their skin. Chinese alligator’s skin is not popular for making leather products; therefore, their skin is not profitable. The Chinese alligator’s extermination was due to attacking livestock and destroying rice paddies.
Environmental pollution caused by agricultural chemicals is another reason for the decline of Chinese alligators. This has
