There is a problem with china and their human rights violations. In america we believe in inalienable rights. Rights that can not be taken away and guess what?
The people’s republic of china does not believe in these rights. We need to get china to sign CEDAW in order to make sure human rights are protected in china. Judge, they strap innocent women bodies unto tables and abort their unborn children without their consent.
These poor helpless women can't do anything but sit there and scream and cry and the negative seems not to understand this Judge , not only will females

They are getting their sweet little babies aborted and what is very sad about it , is that they target out for specifically girls. Now listen these women are committing suicide just because of these unlawful actions . If there are literally no female left , how are there going to be children born . China is not thinking clearly with their actions. First they kill the baby girls then they put so much stress on the mothers , they want to kill themselves so even there is a chance that a baby girl will survive and grow up in china , they will be depressed and eventually will end up killing themselves .
Judge CEDAW will help enforce these rules . So everyone in china especially females will have justice.

Next i will explain what exactly CEDAW will do . Judge the negative does not have a clear understand what CEDAW will do. The negative claims that CEDAW will not work but that is simply incorrect. CEDAW has worked before and will work again. The negative also claims that there are laws put in place to benefit and strengthen human rights and justice for women, But judge lets think about it, china is not enforcing their laws CEDAW is the enforcement there is no use of having law put in place and there is no enforcement . CEDAW’s officials will make sure that China goes through with its rights to protect

My artistic talent, in comparison to past classmates and relatives, has always been overshadowed so subsequently I had little desire to develop whatever talents I did possess. Notwithstanding, I’ve always wanted to be able to sculpt, paint, and draw with the same ease and beauty those past friends and teachers had shown. Moreover, I’ve always enjoyed museums and art galleries or anything that enhances my overall knowledge in various cultures and their histories. Furthermore, I love to travel and I feel that an environmental submersion into a culture’s art and history can provide an increased appreciation for their diversity altogether.…

If there are thirty-two million more boys than girls who are under the age of twenty, it only proves how the birth rate of girls will only continue to decrease. Whether the people in China realize it or not, women are necessary to have. Females work just as hard as men, and are equally wise and honorable, whether the country realizes that or not. With the numbers lowering by the years, China will be put into a hole that they cannot seem to dig themselves out…

Population control in China is horrible to me because I am a very family oriented person. I don’t understand why there is a law stating how many children someone can have. If you are meant to be in this world, God’s will be done. Taking away a beautiful life is illegal and crucifixion and I strongly disagree. Population control in China is horrible to me because I am a very family oriented person.…

American’s First Amendment gives us many significant freedoms such as freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom to assembly, Communist China doesn’t have any of these freedoms if it goes against the People’s Government. In Fan Shen’s book, Gang of One Memoirs of a Red Guard, he had no rights to believe or say anything different from what the government wants. Shen is born and grows in a Chinese Communist family in Red China, and he tries to escape the legal way because if he doesn’t it would cause problems for his family. It is difficult to know what it is like not having freedom of speech when we have grown up with it, Shen was not as lucky, he grew up in a world without the basic freedom that is given to us in the First Amendment;…

Exactly when did it all start, how did slavery become a part of this? In the late 1400’s slavery existed even though slavery began way before then, but exactly around this is when the European and the Portuguese starting sending people back and fourth from Africa to Portugal and using those poor people as their own personal slave. Later on the british joined in 1562 that’s when it all exploded and more countries started getting involved such as North America, Holland, France, Spain and much more. Around the 1900’s the league of nations was founded right after World War I and their goal was to keep the world at peace and focus on the issue with human trafficking.…

“Son preference” was prevalent in China leading to “female infanticide, abortion of female fetuses, and a large number of "missing" girls who are either dead, abandoned, or given up for adoption,” (Luo 1). Married citizens were using illegal ultrasound technology to discover the sex of their child and then decide to abort if fetuses were female. Men are stereotyped to be stronger than females and therefore can help care for their families better than women. “37 million more men than women live in China, thanks to gendercide.” (Gendercide 1).…

Torture, starvation, and lack of sleep are all things some people have to face every day. For years the Chinese have allowed for thousands of people to lose their human rights and suffer in labor camps. These labor camps are part of the re-education through labor act. They are meant to house the guilty but often hold the innocent. These camps violate several human rights: freedom from torture, right to rest and leisure, right to a fair public hearing, and the right to belief and religion.…

China: Human Rights and Status of Oppressed Groups Premise: The evidence will support that the world-wide movement to protect the rights of oppressed groups has not reached nor affected China; indeed, there is strong resistance to correcting human rights abuses. In the summer of 1989, Chinese students protested in Tiananmen Square, Beijing, facing off against government troops and tanks. From this event came an iconic image, of a man holding his shopping bags, facing off against a line of dozens of tanks and barring the way to the square and the protestors (Phelan). A lone man stood fearlessly in front of a tank, determined to stop their progress, and for a moment, the tanks stood still.…

Laws Protecting the Rights of Housemaids Laws protecting the right of women according to CEDAW Women’s right as workers is written on Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Againts Women, or CEDAW in short. It has an interrelation with the laws and a number of development programs in which act as the normative principles for most of feminists. One of the concerns is the impediments of the feminists on the domination of human rights over the rights for women; the tenet of human rights heavily focuses on the domain of public instead on the private one. Thereby, adjustments on the ideas of human rights for the private domain is indispensable.…

I believe China has a huge problem and it stems from their countries enormous population and it is related to the population growth. Ironically, their issue isn’t how fast the population is reproducing. The issue is they are struggling is that don’t have enough people to replace their baby boomers. The reason China is facing this struggle is for 2 reasons the first is that the implemented a one child policy per a family because, the Chinese government was concerned about the rate of population growth growing at uncontrollable rate. Like many Asian cultures, they place a great deal of responsibility on the first son.…
