Every great film starts out with a base. Some form of origination, or a simple idea. The most famous writers that are responsible for Disney’s popular movies are the Grimm Brothers. Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm were German-Born authors born in the 1700’s. They are most famous for their collection of stories which were published in 1812 called Nursery and Household tales, but were later referred to as Grimm’s Fairy Tales. Initially, the book was not meant for children’s readings as they had contained reoccurring dark elements of sex, violence, incest and other vigorous things. The first volumes that were published, were not successful with critics because even though they were labeled “Children’s Tales”, they were not suitable for children. Like
