To a certain degree, i agree with the following quote "The truth is that what is viewed on a screen and how it is viewed is more important than the amount of viewing time". What is viewed and how it is perceived is very important. If the viewer (in this case the child) is consciously aware of what they are watching and in tune with their emotionality, then they can control how they react to what they are watching. If this is not the case then for example, something like watching a scary film may petrify the viewer and give them nightmares. The results of this type of reaction can be damaging psychologically. I disagree with the part the mentions its more important than viewing time to a degree because as i expressed before, too much time investing in screen viewing has many negative effects. Passage two also states "There's no need to keep children away from it.".
