Children Assaulting Their Mothers: Article Analysis

This article talks about children assaulting their mothers. It is a research done to several mothers in regards to their child to mother violence. The study suggested that the physical abuse to the mothers had to do with the usage of drugs, in desperation for drugs, money, etc. the children become violent toward the mother.
The article also suggested that the children hit the mothers because physically they can do it, being that they are bigger than their moms. In fact, the article have substantive information in this topic. This article provided me with the knowledge of such cases, I was not aware it existed as much, the implication for public policy would be a rehabilitation system for drug users that does not provide shame to them,
