The findings from the research that Widom and Kuhns conducted were fair, at the least coming from the subjects and groups analyzed. The original theory of childhood victimization is associated with the increased risk of promiscuity, prostitution, and teenage pregnancy was not at significant level. There was also not much of a difference between the controlled group and abused/neglected group when it relates to promiscuity and teenage pregnancy. The most accurate information from table one was that physically abused females showed the highest rates of involvement in prostitution.
