The early childhood teachers that will participate in this study will provide their perceptions on school-based SEC program implementation. The study will asked the participants about their overall thoughts regarding SEC curricula and programs, teacher responsibility in supporting social emotional development in students, key components of these programs, supports and resources needed for implementation, and barriers that obstruct implementation.
Responsibility
Participants were asked about the teachers’ level of responsibility for supporting children’s social and emotional development. All of the teachers expressed having some type of responsibility for promoting students’ social emotional competency. Some of the teachers felt a personal
