U.S. Politics Helping Defeat Childhood Obesity
With the help of the entire U.S. Government, the Institute of Medicine (IOM) was able to create the program, Local Government Action to Prevent Childhood Obesity (Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, 2009). The government has realized the epidemic that has been overlooked and is now teaming together to try and help America’s children.
