believe that children are watching to much television. First of all, marketers are taking advantage of kids. Very young kids aren't aware of what they're seeing on tv. They don't realize they're being sold a product making them another tool for greedy advertisers. Secondly, violence in media is affecting kids in a negative way. There have been studies linking violent media to bahavioral problems. Another study found that the average kid will see 200 000 violent acts before the age of 18. Lastly, watching too much tv leaves to childhood obesity. In 2017 one in three kids in the US were obese. There is also evidence that childhood obesity leads to diabetes and depression.
