For instance, if your parents both have low metabolisms it can be passed down to you. The amount of food that somebody else intakes might not have the same effect on them as it would on you, being you have a lower metabolism. You could be gaining more weight than the average person even though you are eating the same food. There is some causes and risks for obesity. When children eat more than they need, their bodies store the extra calories in fat cells to use for energy later. If their bodies do not need this stored energy, they develop more fat cells and may become obese. Obesity is caused by many things, including a person’s habits, lifestyle, and environment. Genes and some medical problems also increase a person 's chances of becoming obese. Infants and young children are very good at listening to their bodies ' signals of hunger and fullness. Doing everyday tasks begins to become harder for obese people. They also have a hard time coping with being obese. Anger comes when people realize that in society they are not enough. They are not happy with themselves. They think they are not thin enough. When obese people go shopping they see mannequins. The mannequins modeling the clothes in the stores are skinny. Society depicts “normal” people as skinny or size 0. When they see the clothes on these mannequins, they cannot picture the clothes on themselves. The obese children say, “This looks better on thin people". They assumed to be lazy, unhealthy, and a bad person. They have had civilians demanding to know their medical history and ready to jump on any medical problem they have, always blaming it on their weight. Depression is another struggle they have because depression is seen as more weakness and more excuses. They should be using that as a reason they need to stop eating McDonald 's or other fast food all the time? There must be something else that they’re doing that keeps them fat. They just don 't have enough willpower. They need people to tell them how wrong and bad they are to motivate them to change. Soon enough, they have to accept this lifestyle. It doesn 't mean that they choosing to do nothing about their health. What it does mean is that their health is their priority, their business, and their
