Childhood Music Analysis

Improved Essays
Previous to, or preceding this chappett, I listed some childhood songs.* One of the authors – or rather translator and transferor of the song was a kid named Kenny. He was a couple of years younger than us, but at a young age, two years were more like dog years… light years. A lot of shit happens and gets crammed into one year of prepubescent life. Kenny was a chunky; hyper kid with the look and attitude of a nine year old John Belushi. Funny as shit! At nine he had attitudinal BALLS, though virtual at his age. A feat that was attempted by many, was to climb the tall; foreboding, black iron fence that surrounded all the playgrounds. When locked out late in the day or just too lazy to walk around to the entrance; some strong and athletic kids were able to scale the fence, while avoiding the threating pointed spikes topping off all the vertical bars. …show more content…
Ouch!…ya think? He was fucked up but no piercing of major organs. The story continued and it was said he dangled there screaming until someone was able to lift him up and off the spike. Holy fuckin’ ouch!! So, Kenny was well hung…on the fence that is, not in the pants. He was freakin nine, ya perve.

The Soundtrack of My Life is a creative project that incorporates the use of music to describe who we are. For this assignment, we have to think deeply about what songs would clearly represent ourselves, and include an explanation as to how it describes us. I have chosen three songs to analyze in this assignment, and I feel like those songs would really describe me as a person. The songs that I have chosen are: "Good Riddance" by Green Day, "Ride" by Twenty One Pilots, and "I'm Good" by The Mowgli's. The overall main theme of these three songs is how every moment in life has importance and should be cherished, and how each past moment makes us up to who we are now.…
