Relating back to the fears, Jade’s childhood wasn’t the best, like all the other children at the Divine Path. She played the piano, and it was her pride, her joy, her everything. Jacob wanted to stop her from doing that because she didn’t speak loud enough during prayers, and she didn’t do her chores quick enough. Jacob was saying that the piano distracted her too much. After that, she did her chores quickly and prayed louder, but it just wasn’t enough. She was tossed into the so called ‘bottomless’ pit where she fell unconscious when she hit the ground. As she finally awoke, she realized her hands were trapped in some sort of wall, and in handcuffs. Someone behind the wall, who we know as the Doctor, grabbed her hands, slowly breaking each finger one by one. For some reason, the Doctor left her thumbs untouched. It was after she tried to get David’s medication that Jacob took. Jacob unfortunately caught her and brought her to the pit, asking her to look down and tell what she saw. She replied with nothing, and Jacob held her over the pit, threatening to let her fall if she didn’t tell him why she was in his room, with the golden box of medication.
