The problem in today’s society seen abundantly throughout childhood education classrooms is the hands on usage of technological devices at various young ages. These devices such as: smart boards, iPad’s, digital tool pads, software programs and much more are available in most schools across the nation. Each piece of technology consists of downloadable learning applications, which require much interaction for these students and teachers together. Two subjects of interest being affected today are Biology and English. Biology is defined as: the study of living organisms, and English is defined as: the language and linguistics, composition, and literature, are both necessary subjects taught in elementary schools. These subjects and topics use technology to learn the core elements within each educational curriculum. Due to our technologically …show more content…
Biology, the science of life or living matter in all its forms…especially with reference to origin, growth, reproduction, structure, and behavior is a subject that school districts learn from childhood education throughout high school. Within learning the sciences and adapting to today’s society with technology being used, past theories are currently used in childhood elementary schools today. Usually seen and taught by education teachers are the basic Cell Theory, The Scientific Method, and Darwin’s Theory of Evolution. The basic Cell Theory describes cells as the “structural and functional units of all living things” (Lawson, 1). Students learn the process of the cell theory within humans and nature, but also how new cells arise by cell division all through the utilization of the smart
