The first step in preparing for this presentation was to create a rough draft of our board, along with the education booth. Then we completed the board. In our board, we used bright colors, easy words, and pictures to attract the attention of the preschoolers. Once we prepared our board, the next step was to practice and ensure we know our parts. Due to many different circumstance, this was revived once we got there, but it all worked out. To present this information, we provided many different propts that the children would play with, we quizzed their knowledge on nutrition, and used MyPlate guide. Nutrition is a topic that can be taken into many different levels of education and knowledge. Due to the preschooler aged we need to make nutrition education amuzing and exciting. Children learn off reputation, many of the classrooms use the MyPlate guides, so the children had a little knowledge background education. With these plates and food, we were able to provide hands on play, while learning at the same time. To interact and teach this child we laid out different foods that were health and nonhealthy snacks such as soda, apples, chips, pizza, bananas, green beans, and milk. The preschool age child is at an age that, they understand what is good and bad for their tummies and health. The children and I were able to interact by taking the food and placing them in the correct location on the MyPlate guides. We were able to teach the children the difference between vegetables, fruits, grains, protein, and dairy. Once we provided an example plate for the children, they were able to interact with the food and create their own health MyPlate. After creating their own MyPlate, we quizzed the children to see if our teaching was effect. We would ask questions such as, “What is your favorite health food”? With this question we were able to get answer such as apples, bananas,
