Many people believes that allergies is just an overreaction of our immune system, trying to fight off harmless antibodies. Few people did not realized that having allergies could sometime triggers a life-threatening reaction for some people. Although allergies may seem harmless, it could triggers many distresses on people especially in young children. The definition of allergies can be defined in many way, therefore it is no right or wrong way to definite it. This article describe the context of children who took part in the allergy study. The result show that among the most common allergy presence that children have is about 16% is eczema, about 13% are allergic rhinitis, 13% for food hypersensitivity and about 6 % is asthma. It also indicated that the increasing children who reported problem with asthma also have all the listed allergies above and experiencing pain and discomfort. Results shows that a child’s wellbeing could be decreasing due to the fact that they are undergo increasing health problem, with asthma as the strongest impact. Additional to children’s well-being with health-related to allergy, this study is tested on the psychosocial problems in children through questionnaires. These questions includes the child’s behavior, emotions, actions, and attitudes to determine if allergy could have such an impact. The outcome of this research showed that more than half of the children are boys and more likely than girls to have higher level of psychosocial problem. It also showed that children who have poor health status and those who live with a single parent have the same chance of having high level of psychosocial problem. After answering those questions related to allergy on their children’s health, result from parents revealed the allergy symptom rated from highest to lowest with allergic rhinitis at 30%, dermatitis at 16%, food allergy- 7%, and asthma at 4%. Adding on, the end result show that psychosocial problem does have a correlation to having allergic disease. Through these first two study, I was able to understand that allergy could have a big impact on children, especially at the young stage of four through fourteen of age.
