Brooklyn Heights, NY -Shannon Family 2017-2015 When I first came to New York I began working with the Shannon family, three children of the ages two, six, and eight. For two years I worked 30-40 hours a week with them. Beginning the day with managing an active schedule of an appointments for the youngest child, art, music, swimming and theater classes, as well as daily park and neighborhood walks, playdates, endless imaginary games, and books keeping us busy while the other two were in school. After the boys came home my job was to help with all tasks from after school snacks, homework, tidying the house and bedrooms, bike and scooter rides, playdates, arts and crafts, cooking dinner taking into account dietary restrictions,
