Working parents today, are faced with the difficult challenge, of finding adequate and affordable childcare. In fact, many two household parents are opting, for one parent to quit working; and stay at home until children reach school age. This is attributed to the high cost of childcare. “On average, families with children under age six, who incur child care costs, spend 8.8% of their income on child care, and families living below the federal poverty line spend 20% of their income on child care”, (Mattingly, Wimer, & Collyer, pg. 163, 2017). Meaning if the facility is open twenty-four-seven; so is childcare. There will be several options available to keep child care cost effective for participants. State funds will be accepted (participants receiving child care assistance via the state are welcomed). Participants who pay monthly cost upfront, and in full will receive a 15% discount of tuition services and fees. Payroll deduction options will be available for all participants of businesses, and organizations. Also, to keep cost down, childcare will be provided via students; interning for childhood development and teaching degrees. Forgot to pack your child’s lunch? That is okay, as Everyone’s Childcare will partner with the state regulated food share program. Breakfast, snacks, lunch, and even dinner will be offered as well.
