Childbirth Persuasive Speech

They say you should cry when a child is born. The process of childbirth is the same for most people if not all. Although the process may be the same, the situation is different. I was born an African American man in America. A Baptist born out of wedlock in a single-family household. Being a Baptist and trying to live a Christian lifestyle isn't the easiest thing to accomplish. Sin is the easiest outlet in my neighborhood. The key is to have self-motivation and perseverance. Always remember your moral beliefs and understand that people will never be equal under the eyes of man. Understand that all your strength and blessings come from Christ. It’s because of him that I am at Seton Hall and not in a jail cell.

If the goal is for global equality, we must all unite together for the same cause. We should be pushing for a “All lives Matter” movement instead of pushing for just one race. No life is worth more than another whether you’re the president of the United States or a person on death row for murder. In gods eyes we are all sinners therefore we are all equal. There are thousands of people who are killed by law enforcement every year and every one of them isn’t black. There are major flaws in our judicial system. I do not feel safe when I walk down the street and see a cop. I believe that not every officer has my personal safety as their top priority. I pray that one day society will understand that this is a battle that cannot be won. We must all realize every person has their own set of beliefs and we must agree to …show more content…
What you do on earth determines where you will go when you die. I wish hell upon no one and I believe if you found god once in your life you will never stray too far away. If a drug dealer was brought up in church I believe his soul will be saved at his death. I do not believe that a man who calls Jesus name before his death will go to hell. Even though my mom drags me to church on Sundays I do not believe that you must go to church to find Christ. As a child of Christ, we all have a divine connection to him. When a person is dying or their back is against the wall they will immediately start to pray. Even an atheist will call for Christ when he or she finds out they have cancer. Every night I say thank you god just in case today was my last day on earth. I may not walk a straight path but I try my best to touch as many people as I can daily. The world is plagued by sin. Abortions, gang violence, and adultery is viewed as acceptable and is publicized across the internet for everyone to see. Jesus will be coming back as it says in revelations. We are living in the last days and now is the time to read your bible and keep your faith in god more than

It’s common practice in the human brain to view people and things that are familiar to them as superior. But that does not justify the condemning of others who are viewed as “lesser” people. Specific groups in America have been targeted because of their differences since the formation of the United States. These groups are called out for their variance from norms and are physically and emotionally attacked for their differences. Groups such as women who make up fifty percent of the population in the United States remain oppressed by structures that were put in place hundreds of years ago.…

Many parents look back on the day their first child was born, and consider it to be the greatest day of their life. The moments shortly after labor seem subtle and all worth it for brief moment; but it is just the beginning to the journey of a long parenthood. So, what about the nine months before labor that makes the journey so excruciating for a couple? For a woman, it might be the pain that comes with a growing baby inside of them, or the immense amount of hormonal spikes they endure. During the long journey a couple takes on many obstacles throughout the three trimesters, but few people actually shed any light on the man’s role during a pregnancy.…

Since life starts at origination, fetus removal is similar to kill as it is the demonstration of taking human life. Premature birth is in direct insubordination of the generally acknowledged thought of the holiness of human life. No enlightened society licenses one human to deliberately damage or take the life of another human without discipline, and fetus removal is the same. Appropriation is a feasible different option for fetus removal and fulfills the same result. What's more, with 1.5 million American families needing to receive a tyke, there is no such thing as an undesirable tyke.…

A big problem is that juries are trained to listen to a police officer. Officers can make it seem like they are not at fault when really they are. These cases of brutality in courts often get nowhere and are major wastes of money. Millions of dollars of taxpayer money are wasted on these cases where officers do not get punished for their actions. To punish these officers for their actions, proof is needed.…

As Julie said in her speech, abortions only cover about three percent the services Planned Parenthood provides. The organization understands and respects each individual’s right to make informed, independent decisions about health, sex, and family planning. Their health centers provide a broad spectrum of safe, reliable health care. Planned Parenthood is proud of its vital role in providing young people with honest sexuality and relationship information in classrooms and online to help reduce our nation’s alarmingly high rates of teen pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections. The United States has the highest teen pregnancy rate among the world’s developed nations and approximately 750,000 teenagers in the United States will become pregnant this year.…

While people claim there is a war on cops, the fact do not support this claim; not only are there already enhanced punishment for offenders who assault or kill police officers, but also police officers who use violence against unarmed and non-violent suspect rarely face criminal punishments for their actions. The community does not trust the police because police officers target them even when they are not doing anything wrong. Police brutality is becoming a huge problem brought to the attention of many citizens since many police officers are abusing their authority and not correctly doing their procedures to apprehend criminals. Many people feel that the way the police are exploiting their authority is a sign of corruption within our criminal justice system since they feel that police officers may get away with it if they do. Some police procedures are becoming much more questionable, such as self-defense procedures by officers as many people believe that officers are using self-defense as an excuse to shoot someone, which is difficult to determine. For example, in the Michael Brown incident, Officer Wilson killed Michael Brown as he “feared for his life” while witnesses claim that Brown was surrendering, which then led many communities to riot/protest and claiming that it was police brutality. Also, another flaw in our system is the civil rights debate in regards to the court system since some people view the court system as being biased and not fairly conducting proper procedures.…

If we help people in need, feed old and homeless people, not curse on others, have positive attitude, it is meaningful to say the person is going to end up in heaven. The heaven and hell lies in our imaginary thoughts and even the physical appearance of god is invisible. This helps to make an assumption that the story of the god, heaven and hell have been passed down by our ancestors. In this process, some parts were lost while others were added. The faith I have toward my god is the most important part.…
