In a good group or a good state group the age of their soldiers would be 16 or higher and wouldn’t see any combat until they’re 18. In a bad group the ages of the soldiers could be as young as 5 years old with a high chance that they have seen death or killed someone. They could also be forced to follow orders without question or to stop them from feeling when they kill with an assortment of drugs that they force them to take. Boys and girls not only are forced to commit acts of violence, be cooks, porters, messengers, informants, but the girls are raped and are given as wives to commanders or soldiers. Also depending what group the child soldier is in, shows how the people around them would treat them good or bad. For example the U.S. and the U.K. are examples of a good group to join and because the child soldier is in a government armed group in a good country society will not discriminate them. While in other countries a bad group to join which includes certain government groups and most rebel groups would most likely have have the child soldiers rejected by many in their society and will be insulted or worse, so it is almost impossible for them to return to
