Only my mum knows about my ED but when I told her I didn't live with her anymore. Sure, she tries to make me eat every time I visit her, but she doesn't make a big deal about it. She offers sometimes to help with my medical bills but I usually want to pay them myself. I said once to my dad that "I have little problems with eating" (obvious understatement) but we were both drank and he probably didn't get it and neither of us has talked about it since.

Neither of my parents comments my weight or forces me to eat, but I think it's easier because I don't live with them. I'm sorry you're going through such a hard time, but it must also be excruciating for your parents to see their child shrinking away and they just don't know what to
