Safety is defined as being safe from injury, danger, loss, or any type of harmed. Safety procedures are necessary in a child care facility because that is what keeps children safe throughout the day and it also gives the parents a state of mind that they are putting their children in a safe place to be look after while they are at work. It is important to have procedures that explain conduct protocol so that the staff, administration, and parents can get an understanding or idea of what should be expected in the classroom.
