There are many reasons why observations are a very significant part of teaching, especially when planning what curriculum the teacher will prepare. Through observing children, teachers learn much important information about each individual child such as behaviors, developmental progress, achieved skill sets and interests or hobbies. Even though there are so many factors in observations, knowing the progress of a child and their interests can be of use when designing a lesson plan. It is common sense that it is easier to teach a child when you have their attention. As a teach it is your job to find way to grab a child’s attention, and knowing their interests and hobbies will be to your advantage. For example, lets say a whole class really enjoys
