The journal explained about four kids who had various conditions that impair their abilities to swallow. Gastro esophageal reflux (GER), failure to thrive (FIT), facial muscle tone with delayed language and oral motor skills, septal optic dysplasia, optic nerve hypoplasia, seizure disorder, and “brain anomalies.” As a result of these conditions, the kids were placed on feeling tubes and food chopped into miniature bits for better and saver intake. Despite the effort to improve their food intakes, normal growths could not be sustained, so alternative measure was soughed to help improve their conditions.
Assessment was made, the primary dependent variables were identified as packing, and intervention strategies were designed.…
