For this assignment I choose to observe the director of Child Nutrition Compliance who is in charge of the nutrition program for Responsiveed charter school system for all of Texas and Arkansas. I also observed at a Pediatric Adult Life Support (PALS) class that consisted of parents and first responders. My observations consisted of office to office visits of various charter schools with the director of child nutrition learning about the kindergarten to high school lunch program. Also traveling to hospitals and fire departments education centers, learning, taking, and observing the PALS training.
The wellness topics that I covered consisted of the Food and Nutrition Service controls a few projects that give solid nourishment to children
