Many people have different opinions on all types of actions. Most are willing to ask a few questions about a statement. Do most teenagers start thinking before they act? Why are teenagers committing violent crimes? Teenagers in today’s society are influenced by the entertainment industry. Music and video games portray violence that often teaches teenagers that certain crimes are ok. Minors are committing a variety of crimes such as shoplifting in stores and breaking into homes to steal people’s personal belongings. Most teenagers go to school throughout the week, but on the weekend teens have more freedom to commit these crimes. These teenagers know the outcome of their actions, yet they still choose to do wrong. Minors should be accountable for their own choices whether the choices are right or wrong. Teens know what they are getting themselves into and they also know the consequences of what might happen to them because of their actions.

A teenager that does a big crime will be on a very bad edge line with the state. Juvenile is like a supervision for minor that has been sent there for committing a violating crime. A parent child will be under the court supervision. There are many chances that the child will be put on probation from the cost of their crime. Teenage crimes are not really called crimes as they would be for adults. Crimes committed by teens are mostly called, “Delinquent Acts.” When minors that are charged with a crime they are treated like an adult.
