Child labour is "the employment of children in an industry or business, especially when illegal or considered exploitative." (The actual definition form google). The children that are employed are younger then 7 and worked for 12-18 hours a day without a break and even in extreme cases 19-20 hours, with one hour break.

Child labour was located/discovered in England in the mid 1970's. When the children were working they wore hats, a coat, black pants and black shoes. Most of the children come from poor families or from a family were parents cant support. Most of the children chose to work, so then they could support their family (have food and water for their family). Company's choose kids to work because they don't have to pay kids as much money as adults, so then the company doesn't loose as much money.

Child labour was very important to industrial revolution because the poor families needed extra income so they would send their kids to work, or the kids would choose to work so they could get more income. The government forced them to have more kids so then they could get more money and have more income.
