Child Labour In China

In today’s society some major social issues are child labor, obesity, and poverty which affect people in different countries around the globe.

Child labor in China is starting to pop up in major corporation factories. “The new threat to children in the Middle Kingdom is that of kidnapping: an ever increasing number of children are disappearing every day and forced into labour” (http://www.poverties.org/child-labor-in-china .html, 2015). This is a growing problem. This is because the need for cheap labor is increasing and without it some factories could not operate. “Child labour doesn't just ruin the childhood of millions, it takes away their chance to ever go to school at a key moment of their life” (http://www.poverties .org/ child-labor-in-china.html, 2015). The people of America eat too much. Some factors include that fast food inexpensive, convenient, taste good, and they see advertisements everywhere. “More than 1 in 6 children and adolescents ages 6 to 19 are considered to be obese” (niddk.nih.gov/health-information/health-statistics/Pages/overweight-ob esity-statistics, 2009-2010). This will pass through generations.
