Child Labour According To Goal: End Child Labor

Child labor is something that everybody needs to be aware of. According to Goal: End Child Labor, this is a serious issue that happens in ⅔ of nations in the world. People need to be aware that child labor is a huge problem that needs to be stopped. Due to insufficient education, tiny amount of money earned, and risking their lives, child labor is forcing children to work unfairly. Children who are forced to work will never grow up and get an education, or a life for that matter! Everyone has potential to do amazing things. Think of people who have made great contributions to the world like Albert Einstein, Philio T. Farnsworth, and Thomas Edison. If they just worked as slaves their whole life and died while they were young, we wouldn’t have television, light bulbs, and science would be way far behind! If we give everyone a chance to do great things, then great things will happen! These children need to get a chance to do great things and some love in their life! According to Goal: End Child Labor, a boy forced to sew soccer balls only earns about 60 cents. He is one of 200 million kids. This would mean that almost 3 percent of the world’s population is in child labor. Almost 3 percent!!! Clearly this is an enormous problem. Because no one is supporting them, the children are forced to take care of themselves. With such little pay, this is nearly impossible. According to Goal: End Child Labor, due to their starvation, they will likely die before their twelfth birthday. This is unfair to these children. Just by living they are destined to work and die at a young age. This shows that child labor is forcing children to work
